We are looking for an experienced Civil Litigation Lawyer to join the Litigation Department.

Qualifications:

☑️ 4+ years of experience
☑️ Fluent in both Greek & English. Fluency in another language will be considered an advantage
☑️ Strong written communication skills
☑️ Advanced computer knowledge
☑️ Extreme confidence in court hearings
☑️ Demonstrate substantial experience within the litigation
☑️ Ability to make timely decisions based on relevant analysis, exercising judgement on the evidence and being able to defend those judgements where appropriate
☑️ Possesses the ability to thrive in a varied multi-project caseload, maintaining appropriate progress across a portfolio of projects and workstreams
☑️ Valid advocate license from the Cyprus Bar Association
☑️ Excellent knowledge of Civil procedure rules
☑️ Capable of taking over complex cases
☑️ Professional ethics
☑️ Honours degree from a UK university at second class or above.

Key Responsibilities:

☑️ Attending court hearings
☑️ Excellent drafting of pleadings, legal opinions, contracts and other legal documents
☑️ Providing legal advice

Corporate Lawyer

Michael Chambers & Co LLC is expanding its Legal Department and is currently seeking to hire a dedicated Corporate Lawyer to join our Legal Department.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • – Drafting and reviewing various types of legal documents and agreements related to commercial, corporate, and employment matters.
  • – Conducting legal research on various topics and liaising with outsourced providers and/or associates to acquire relevant information.
  • – Handling contract negotiation processes for various business transactions with partners and providers.
  • – Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions and conducting in-depth legal research.
  • – Providing expert and strategic legal advice to management and internal stakeholders, evaluating, and weighing multiple inputs and impacts of any decision or course of action.
  • – Drafting and overseeing the execution of resolutions, minutes, and other internal agreements.
  • – Assisting with account openings and communications with local and international banks and financial institutions.
  • – Reviewing and advising on data protection/privacy agreements.
  • – Providing support for any legal or administrative tasks that arise during the Company’s day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • ☑️ Experience in providing legal assistance.
  • ☑️ Holds an LLB degree in Law.
  • ☑️ Membership in the Cyprus Bar Association is a plus.
  • ☑️ Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
  • ☑️ Proficient in both written and oral English.
  • ☑️ Computer literate.

Michael Chambers & Co LLC is expanding its Legal Department and is currently seeking to hire a dedicated Advocate Associate to join our Legal Department.

Requirements:

  • ☑️ A Degree in Law from an accredited University, a Master’s Degree, LPC or BPTC will be considered an advantage.
  • ☑️ Member of the Cyprus Bar Association with 3-4 years of experience as a practising Advocate.
  • ☑️ Knowledge of and experience in Wills & Probate, Property Law and Civil Litigation matters would be highly advantageous.
  • ☑️ Experience drafting pleadings, including legal opinions and commercial and SPA agreements.
  • ☑️ Experience in representing clients at Court.
  • ☑️ Experience in client service, providing legal advice and dealing with clients.
  • ☑️ Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple task and cases and comply with strict deadlines.
  • ☑️ Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • ☑️ Fluency in English and Greek is a requirement, both written and verbal.
  • ☑️ Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage
