As part of this year’s World Human Rights Day activities, Dr Andreas Hadjigeorgiou, Senior Associate at Michael Chambers & Co. LLC, will participate as a speaker at the seminar organised by the Human Rights Committee of the Cyprus Bar Association.
The seminar, titled “ECtHR Judgments: Execution, Compliance, and Areas for Improvement”, will take place on 10 December 2025, from 16:30 to 19:00.
The programme will examine the post-judgment procedure before the Committee of Ministers, the responsibilities of Member States following findings of violations, and the measures adopted to ensure compliance with the European Court of Human Rights’ judgments.
Dr Hadjigeorgiou will address the measures taken by the Committee of Ministers in key cases concerning Cyprus, offering a focused analysis of progress made, outstanding gaps, and areas where further steps may be required. His presentation is part of the ongoing effort to raise awareness and strengthen understanding of human rights obligations at the national level.
We are pleased to support this important initiative and the ongoing professional education of the legal community.
