As part of the firm’s ongoing engagement with legal developments in Cyprus and the EU, Michael Chambers & Co. LLC will take part in the upcoming Equality Law Conference, hosted by the Cyprus Bar Association. The event will focus on the principle of equality as reflected in the Constitution, the EU acquis, the Charter of Fundamental Rights, and international legal instruments. Representing the firm, Senior Associate Dr Andreas Hadjigeorgiou will give a presentation on: “(Un)Constitutionality of Laws under Article 28 of the Constitution”. The conference will bring together legal professionals and academics to examine how equality is addressed within various legal systems and the implications for national legislation.
