As part of its ongoing professional training programme, the Justice for All will host a seminar on “The right to freedom of speech and expression”, held under the auspices of the Cyprus Bar Association, featuring Dr Andreas Hadjigeorgiou, Senior Associate at Michael Chambers & Co. LLC, as a trainer.
The seminar will examine the legal foundations and practical application of freedom of expression as protected under constitutional law and international human rights instruments. Particular focus will be placed on the scope of the right, its lawful limitations, and the balance between freedom of expression and competing legal interests within both the Cypriot and European legal frameworks.
During the training, Dr Hadjigeorgiou will provide a structured and analytical overview of freedom of speech and expression, drawing on relevant jurisprudence and recent legal developments. His presentation aims to help legal practitioners understand how this fundamental right is interpreted and applied in practice.
The programme is part of the Cyprus Bar Association’s continuing professional education initiatives and contributes to the broader discussion of constitutional and human rights in Cyprus.
We are proud to see Dr Andreas Hadjigeorgiou continue to contribute to the professional development of the legal community through his participation in this vital training seminar.
