Christina Ioannou is a legal practitioner with experience in the UK legal sector, specialising in regulatory and commercial matters. She joined Michael Chambers & Co LLC as Legal Counsel and contributes to the firm’s iGaming and regulatory practice, with particular involvement in licensing and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Christina holds an LLB (Hons) and an LLM in European Union Law from the University of Kent. Her academic background provides a solid grounding in legal principles and a structured understanding of EU regulatory frameworks, particularly in cross-border contexts.
Prior to joining the firm, Christina gained experience in commercial property law, working on a range of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing. This experience strengthened her drafting skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex legal processes in time-sensitive environments.
In her current role, Christina advises on the regulatory aspects of the iGaming sector, including licence applications, jurisdictional structuring, and ongoing compliance requirements. She approaches legal matters with a methodical, analytical mindset, contributing to the delivery of clear, practical legal solutions.
